![]() ![]() ![]() Typical Chinese restaurant share and we came home with plenty of leftovers. Best sauce I've had with shrimp and veggies. The vintage decor interested him and he couldn't believe the coin fountain in the middle (so chic in the 70s!) or the taped up chairs. My college son loved the place for what he perceived as its horribleness. It tasted odd (maybe old vegetable oil?) I'm not sure what was supposed to be in the wonton but it had one flat square of meat or something in it, about an inch square and as thick as the thin edge of a credit card. The crab rangoon was filled with something the substance and taste of french onion dip. The glasses had water spots on them and the plates were all worn with scratch marks on them (no big deal). Okay, maybe it wasn't rush time yet? Opened the menu and it fell apart and some of the prices were changed with ink, though they were still normal. We walked in and there was one large family gathering going on. I'd been here 20 years earlier with a friend who loved it. I got home from work late and he was going to a concert before 8, so at 6:30 we were looking for a place we could get through quickly. ![]()
